Hey Im just curious idk if u have answered this or have been asked this before but do you mind giving a tutorial on how you edit ur art and pictures of ur makeup that you take I think there really cool and i wanna learn that aswell only if you dont mind :3
Hi! Thank you so much < 3 I don't actually do any editing to my art other than layer effects. I have tutorials on my Instagram if you wanna know how I get the effects when I'm colouring! They're in the reels tab on my profile :] and while I'm drawing, I am also messing around with contrast, hue and brightness. As for makeup/outfit pics, I don't know if I'd ever make a tutorial officially for those. But some tips, I always cut out the background and slap myself onto a background I made (usually a snippet from my existing art, or a heavily contrasted, pixilated image of something. Could be anything). Almost all of my outfit pics are shot in a video and screenshotted to get a picture out of it, way more hands off and easier because I am the only one involved haha. Then it's just a matter of layering on small motifs and pictures. I'm either using Paint Tool SAI to edit, or if I'm lazy I use PicsArt on my phone. Again mess with the contrast, brightness, hue, and layer effects until it looks the way you want it to! I hope this helped at least a little!
How do you come up with character development and design and just oc lore and ideas in general I really love all your ocs and there words and I think there really cool and interesting do you have any tips that could could share i would also love to know the inspiration behind some of them like askallen or nicholas also will you ever be selling adopts like some on TH I love your art bye for now
Thank you so so much!!! My only solid advice about OC development and world building is just be cringe and free about it, and not care what other people are gonna say/think about it!!! Pour your interests and hobbies into them, create what you want to see and what you think is missing. I obsess over my own characters like they're little toys in my brain that I can project things onto!!!!! Take inspiration and ideas from artists and works that you like and create your own things with it and rid yourself of any shame, guilt or embarrassment you have about your art/yourself as a person. As easier said than done, but you will naturally grow and so will your art/characters alongside it. Really, my OCs are an amalgmation of myself, my interests, experiences and in the case of Askallen and Growan (formally Nicholas), those two are born of homesickness as they are extremely tied to Cornish folklore, ghost stories and culture that I have adapted into the universe they are living in. I love history (1600s-1700s), so I wanted to create a dark-sci-fi universe inspired by this time period and folklore. Askallen was inspired by the myths of the ghosts of highwaymen stalking the moorland, and so is the reanimated corpse of one after a lifetime of robbery and murder, possessed by the parasites and mould that infest the land. Growan was originally a character with a lot of religious guilt and shame, but now I switched focus to him being more of a victim of circumstance who wants nothing more than to fight and destroy the causes of those circumstances. In this case, being a vessel created as a weapon in subservience to those who oppress him. Basically, all my OCs are either metaphors for the struggles of being marginalised, or an eclectic mix of my interests, or both. With a healthy mix of kink, fetish, horror and gothic vibes lolol As for adopts, I don't know when I'll be doing them next, sorry! If I have any designs in my head that I don't want to keep for myself, then I'd sell them, but I can't say when that would be! Thank you so much again < 3

How do you get ideas for like things like your body horror art i just love them alot is there anyone or some media that inspires you there so amazing…i love your art please never stop making what you make!!
Thank you so much! I will never ever stop for as long as I can!!!! And really most of my inspiration for body horror comes from personal experiences. Personally, I feel like chronic illness, body image/dysmorphia and being transgender can be their own body horror experiences so I really like to play on those topics when I'm making body horror art. Example would be abstracting breasts or genitals into something grotesque as someone who's gender dysphoria has related to those things, or creating weird/distorted body shapes and tearing them apart as a representation of poor body image, mainly in connection with both my dysphoria and eating disorder. I also had adenomyosis of the uterus which caused painful and debilitating cramps and periods, experiences with doctors questioning me and pushing for me to be fertile as long as possible and general have had healthcare withheld from me so these themes of fertility and body autonomy appear in my art as well. Conceptually I don't take inspiration from anyone besides myself, but visually for body horror specifically, I like the classics like Junji Ito and H.R. Giger but also some others like @/0bolzak0 (instagram), @/orkgotik (instagram) and @/louisfleischauer (instagram) ^_^ Thank you again! <3
What does your art represent and express I’m curious
This is a lot, so trigger warning for basically literally everything.. but..
Depends on the piece, but art for me is just a way for me to express my own emotions, struggles and frustrations, etc. A lot of my OCs are manifestations of parts of me that I struggle with, e.g Deadmeat as a "living dead" creature is just a massive metaphor for my experiences with gender dysphoria (he killed himself via ripping his chest open in a dysphoric rage) and autism/chronic illness (the nonverbal tendencies, the vocal and physical stimming, the way my body just struggles to work, being sick all the time, that kind of thing). Saline as a character is based on my body image issues and my ED, feeling like I have to be perfect all the time and present an image of being put together to feel respected. And together their relationship has been a way for me to process and deal with the grooming I went through as a preteen, codependency, feelings of abandonment. There's a lot of themes I'm working on with Sarfven and the universe around him, so I'll be leaking more information as I go lol
But yeah, there are parts of me in all of my characters, even when they don't look/act the way I would, there is a fragment in there somewhere.
Even beyond my characters, body image, autonomy and chronic illness struggles are just baked into all my artwork I think lolol
I think generally, I want to make angry/weird but beautiful transgender and queer art that I feel seen with, while also being kinky and weird. I'm kind of tired of the notion that queer people should be less angry, to not be "deviant" or "degenerate", I want it to be seen and understood instead.
So long story short, it represents me and my experiences:'
hii!! i love your art, you're one of my favorite artists! you also have a great fashion sense and i feel inspired by both you and your art ! hope you're doing wonderful <3
