Honoured that you think this is good enough that I followed video tutorials tbh... : ' D I have all resources listed on the resources page of the website, before I made this one I started with the sadgrl layout builder, but from there i have overhauled everything and added new things with a mix of code I put together from w3schools (all linked on the page!!!!) Basically I have been experimenting and fucking around and finding out, while browsing to gain some inspiration. Sorry that I can't give more advice, your best bet is just trying it out. And there will be tutorials out there, you can look for neocities tutorials specifically ❤️‍🩹

Hihi! Thank you so much, and im so glad I could inspire you in such ways and its not an odd question! Honestly, my style and the style I put my characters in, is an amalgamation of everything I have ever liked and found cool. I think thats a huge part of finding a style and identity that works for you, never just sticking to one thing that you think will work, and instead curating something personal and special. So unfortunately I cannot really class it as one thing. : ' D That said, I'm huge into kink so fetish fashion is in there, I love all kinds of gothic/gothic adjacent expression and fashion especially rivethead, cybergoth, and a bit of military goth too (im careful about this tbh) and maybe some "mall goth" too. I grew up really liking lots of different j-fashion (decora, lolita, etc) and I used to be both emo and scene at points in my life, so these influences absolutely creep their way in there too! And then my artistic influences are in there too!( which i think I spoke about before in a previous question below) I hope this is a good direction for you to explore in, and remember that style takes time to build and you might not find something that clicks for you immediately!! It's an ever growing process that you can add more and more to and never has to be "complete". I think thats the fun part! Have fun and good luck with your transition and exploration <3 ^ _ ^

(sent you an email as well) !!! Hi! I don't mind answering your question at all. When I moved officially in 2022 I took two large suitcases of stuff and that was it. So like, clothing, some video game consoles and games, my laptop, etc. But it was alright honestly, I'm lucky that my parents were willing to hold onto a lot of stuff for me because every time I've come to visit since, or when they visit, I've been able to slowly migrate items along as I travel piece by piece (mainly my books and sketchbooks). But a lot of my belongings are still there, or I just donated / sold them. Really for me, it's the emotional aspect of what you leave behind that hurts the most. I had to rehome my exotic pets (geckos and a snake : ( ), I left behind friends and family, left behind something comfortable and secure, and also temporarily my independance. I don't say this to scare you, but depending on where you move, if you don't speak the language to begin with, or aren't accustomed to local customs / buraeucracy, it can be really, really rough. I love my partner to death and I'm so grateful that they were there for me, but depending on someone so heavily to do so much for me like paperwork and other bureaucracy (which I could have easily done myself back home) completely ruined my self confidence/esteem for a while. But it does get better, now I know the language, have new friends, moved to a city, etc it's become easier to function and live independently again. I think with what you lose, you can gain so much back, like even stronger self assurance, potentially a new language, life skills, etc. So in the end, it becomes worth it. All that to say, I took essentials / some comforts with me, sold/donated the rest, and that the emotional part is always the hardest. : ' D I wish you luck wherever it is that you choose to go!

It's a bit of a mix of both for me, some pieces use no reference, while with others I build off from a reference as a starting point and then take it my own direction, and other times I'm straight up referencing the pose or composition lolol I think the understanding of anatomy has just come with time, from using references and doing studies (though... I have been lacking at doing studies lately ;_; ). It's the standard advice of learning and then breaking the rules that you've learnt, and the more you do it, the easier it will be to grasp! A healthy amount of struggle is okay, it means you're attempting new things and as long as you pace yourself and give yourself time and patience, it will pay off. (Obv take breaks if the struggle gets overwhelming, if you know what I mean 😭) I really like to abstract the body in weird/organic ways while somehow keeping it natural, I don't really know how to explain it other than just finding ways to twist/distort things but only so much to the point its slightly uncanny :' D It became a lot easier to make this pleasing to look at the better I understood the body, and what exactly works well to distort and play around with.
